hmm i dont know why i suddenly have the urge to blog again. maybe cos i am too bored. or maybe i realised i should record some of the things down just in case i forget them in the future.

anyway, half a year of NS training have passed. looking back time passed quite fast, but going through this period of time wasn't very fast at all. I enjoyed my trainings at BMT and at SISPEC, making a lot of friends there and going through the tough trainings with them together. Orion was the place where i learnt my basic military skills. Echo was the place i learnt my section movements and developed close bonds with my section mates. Think the most memorable part of NS was the time i spent at Echo platoon 2, where we did leg raise early in the morning before revelee...where we rifle overhead during fieldcamp...where we leopard-crawled and ran at the end of the nutcracker...where we dug like mad over 3 days at nutcracker. Then i had my 28km march at the end of BSLC, where we walked the (#*$& NTU 3 times in addition to some route at SISPEC.

can't say that i was not disappointed not being able to go to ocs. but looking at some people who went there, the disappoint was not that great.

right now i am at Armour Training Camp at Sungei Gedong. for your information its somewhere even further than Lim Chu Kang cemetry, and it's about 15mins of travel on car from NTU. i am going through training to become a tank commander, so basically i have been driving a tank for the past 1 week. ha am driving a tank even before i start driving a car. the course has been quite xiong cos of all the servicing that needs to be done. we got to grease the tank, tighten the tracks of the tank etc. after our trainings. i can't really adopt to the place yet, but i guess i should be able to after a few more weeks, where i make more friends there.
