the 3rd week of school is coming to an end soon. time flies in uni seriously. i cant remember doing anything productive for the past 3 weeks. havent been exercising and i think i am back to my jc days where i only eat and eat but not exercise haha. so far i think the only time i ran was on the first week of school. this has to change nxt wk, i hope haha.
once again i think i still prefer economics than business. till now after having 3 weeks of lessons i think the course still hasnt taught me anything substantial. when i read the economics textbooks i feel engaged to it, i feel that i am thinking about things. reading business textbooks i feel like i am reading story books, and they dont tell me a lot of things that i didnt know previously. what i knew previously were facts and information not yet categorized - the textbooks simply put everything that i know into different headings and giving them specialised names. i think my lack of interest in the business topics explains why till now i am still not stressed/not interested in ob and marketing projects. someone pls wake me up.
a lot of times we tend to criticise, focus, harp on the mistakes that others make, but very seldom do we find faults in ourselves. very often we end up doing the same mistakes that we have criticised of others and despited realising so, we come up with lots of reasons to cover up or explain ourselves. i think i am very guilty of doing such things, and i seriously and urgently need to change. less criticism and more reflection of myself, less negative thoughts and more tolerance - these will make me a better person.
to me nothing is more important than you.
does mixing out with the same group of people all the time make you alter the way you think, change your principles and change the perception that you have for people? i think very often we are influenced by how others think and we change our perceptions of people to fit what we think the people around us believe in. i had this trouble in jc, and i am having this trouble again now. seems like as we grow older, it's no longer easy to find people who will believe in you wholeheartedly, and be open to you without any doubts in them. conflicts? arguments? just talk it out and life will be so much better. friends are people whom you know will support you no matter how wrong you are. even though they may disagree with what you do, at the end of the day the support will still be there. most importantly, friends are honest with each other.
sometimes words just get stucked in my head. i know what i want to say but i dont know how to type/write them out. i think i have a lack of sleep. shall update again nxt wk i think.
