year 2 sem 1 wk 1

havent blogged for quite some time. i havent had enough sleep recently, mainly cos of foc and yesterday's jash. shall talk about jash first. i had this flaming lambo thingy that totally made my head spin. i could feel myself swaying around and my head felt heavy after a while. now i know the kind of close to being drunk feeling. i came back and i felt like vomitting, and i did haha. my first every clubbing experience, i cant say it was an unpleasant experience, just that i know i wont deliberately want to go again. if events like jash and hall bash start coming again i will still go i guess. i dont really understand why some people can just dance so freely and so crazily, like some girls who totally lose themselves in the music.

foc was a pleasant experience. i must say this year's foc was much better than the one that i have went through last year. i dont know if it's cause mingle is in programmers or what, but i tend to pay more attention to the little details that the programmers put into the programs, and i tend to appreciate more in this camp. apus got 3rd in the end, cant say that we were upset about it cos we sort of expected it already. i particularly liked the fright night and the initiation night, probably those are the 2 events that i can play around with the people haha. it was an exhausting 6 days of camp, but i think at the end of the day seeing the yr 1s feel appreciative was quite satisfying. i think i know what i have managed to achieve this foc - building a good relationship with the yr 1s and bonding them together. i know it's impossible for them to stay bonded forever, but i think as long as the majority of them are bonded together it will be a job well done.

school started yesterday. i am currently having 23 aus but i think i am dropping to 20aus with no free days at all haha. i think this sem is goin to be a very busy semester. hope i can cope with all the commitments at hand and i will manage to juggle things better. sometimes results arent proportionate with efforts, but i guess it's the process that counts.
