There was team lunch today. It was only after lunch that I know that the lunch was meant to welcome newcomers (aka me). Anyway we went to this really posh Japanese and Italian fusion restaurant at boat quay. Excellent and expensive food, 2 courses for about $40++. And we had blue cheese pizza with honey and walnut. Pity I couldnt take pictures of the food, cos I thought I was sua ku enough already when I kept exclaiming that the restaurant is very posh.
And it was the bank that paid for the meal. Apparently all departments have this grant for treating newcomers and have team lunches.
Indeed it's good working in banks. And still this isnt the best bank around.
