havent been updating this blog, mainly because my life has been quite mundane. i do the same things every day...gym swim shop eat. maybe i will have more things to blog about when i go denmark.
i still didnt manage to find a job after 1 month plus. i will choose to believe that it's cos i am going overseas/cannot commit for long that's why they dont want to employ me. i am looking forward to the sim lim square part-time job this saturday. it's not exactly going to give me much money, but i guess it's still better than lazing around at home.
i was in part of the flood yesterday. went to the danish embassy in the morning and when i was driving out i realised the road was flooded and there was 2 cars in front of me that stopped with their hazard lights on. i stopped behind them and decided not to move until they moved. the water level was quite high and there were occasional "waves" that were created when the vehicles in the opposite direction drove past. my car was like bobbling up and down in the water haha. decided to drive off when the bus in the nxt lane chiong through the water like nobody's business. it was quite an experience cos rarely there will be a chance to drive through water like that.
the flood reminds me of "the day after tomorrow", with all the tsunami and stuff. i will probably experience the first point of impact since the sea is just opposite me haha.
looking back at my to-do list for the holiday, i realise i only did one thing so far! i changed my hard disk already but still didnt manage to do the rest. denmark trip is more or less done already. now all i have to do is wait for the housing offer, pack my things and book my flight. tentative flight date will be 5 august.
not exactly looking forward to that day, neither am i reluctant to go.
