went for this telesurveyor job yesterday morning with frank. initially thought that the job pays well cos i will get $8 for every completed survey that will take around 30-40minutes to complete. the first impression of the company wasnt too good, cos the whole company had only less than 10 perm staffs there. in the end after spending about 3.5 hours in the morning we decided not to take up the job cos it was simply too tedious and boring. felt quite insulted when the supervisor asked us if it was about the money - reminds me of those movies where the very rich businessman perv will ask the girl to go to bed w him and when she refuses he will say "钱能解决的问题就不是问题".

got a letter from saf last night informing that i have a promotion in rank. i can totally imagine what kind of shit will be coming up for this reservist. there must be some reason they are promoting me just weeks before my reservist, and i am seriously not looking forward to it.

booking my air tickets soon. initially planned to return on the 4th feb but i realised today that 3-4 feb is chinese new year, which means i will have to return on the 2nd feb for 团圆饭. got to start packing soon.
